Jack S. Dweck began his legal career in 1961 in a general practice with a concentration in litigation. In 1968, he formed his own firm with a partner under the firm name of Dweck & Sladkus, which is the predecessor firm to The Dweck Law Firm. From 1968 through the present, Mr. Dweck has actively litigated hundreds of cases in the area of commercial litigation, real estate litigation, estate litigation, personal injury, medical malpractice litigation, intellectual property litigation and employment litigation.
Mr. Dweck has tried hundreds of cases to verdict, has argued numerous appeals before state and federal courts, and has been counsel of record for close to one hundred reported decisions in state and federal courts.
In addition, as a general practitioner, Mr. Dweck provides estate planning and will drafting, has probated estates, and has provided corporate legal services in the form of entity formation, shareholder, partnership and operating agreements, leasing, financing, real estate purchases, sales and financing acquisitions and general contracts. Mr. Dweck has enjoyed an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell as part of its register of Preeminent Lawyers. Mr. Dweck received his AV rating after his eighth year of admission to the Bar.
Mr. Dweck and the firms in which he has been a partner have had the privilege of representing and furnishing legal services to the Government of Ecuador, GAF Corporation, Intervest Bank, MegaPhase LLC, various international airlines, including Ecuadorianade Aviacion, TAN Airlines, Aerocondor Airlines, Aerolineas Peruanar, S.A., the Archdiocese of New York, Independent Living Aids Inc., Design Strategies Inc., Texas Liquids Holdings LLC, Perkins School For The Blind and In re Austrian and German Bank Holocaust Litigation.
